alessandro scotti's talk
last night we (by we i refer to sab, naz, kimon, idzan, ila, and a whole lot nice echelons of photographer's group) got the chance to hear talk by alessandro scotti, (click here) on photojournalism at PAM's Southern Chapter office. He's here on a UN assignment; of urban / citie dynamic growth. Jb, along with a city from each of Nigeria, China, Morocco, and Brazil were selected. It was inspiring, the experience were authentic, the pictures and photos presented were superb, the narration and story behind the pics fits. I wish I could ask some things, but since I'm a newbie in photography terms, I just enjoy listening and absorbing all the info's I can get.
and after two presentation of narcotic traffics and JB's urban fabric, we got to watch Tok Rimau's (click here) short film "bumbung aku lantai orang". btw, its his birthday today, so Godbless, tok rimau.
