some kerkeythea rendering i did yesterday. takes around 2 hour to configure the rendering
models is from sketchup; it only takes around 30min to form the so call floating street mall. SHOULD HAVE detail it up a bit; but i just wanna play around with the render engine and form. btw; the Manhattan model is downloaded from google warehouse. pity they dont have KL.

introducing bikin: I believe its a brainchild of adifitri (click here).
stands for Biro Komunikasi Integratif (or was it integrasi?),
basically its more or less the publishing team for architecture school of UTM.

currently the documentation of students artworks is carried out by, well, i supposed, i'm clueless. the only published item we're working on is the thesis portfolio, which is under a few thesis student.

perhaps BIKIN would offer a better perspective to document, publish and kept the students artworks and projects.

P/s: no. BIKIN is not formalised yet. but I stumbled upon the 'eureka-god' to design the logo while muffing around in my room.

and I ask myself why I still didnt have a gf. dem im a dork-chippa.

thesis mode? I do look forward to thesis since my first day; I envisaged to design a
farming modular in between urban negative spaces. Then I caught up with designing
of spirit of time and place in a tsunami affected context.

alas, the thing going on now?

I'm about to start ranting and effing as usual, but whining wouldn't help. and too
much b*tch*ng without acting makes you a sore loser. read Darrel Royal Letter?

so now, I continue with whatever soul I have left. Its not hard to complete and
work 24-7, but without the passion, U feel, as oblivious as it sounds, an empty c
ontainer.

I kill some time reading Daywatch, to Kill a mockingbird, and feed myself up with
mumford & sons + belle and sebastian. Thanks asafoetida!

P/s: this is my workstation.kinda messy, but if a table reflects one's state of mind, a clean and empty table would spell trouble, no? gesundheit

I figured it out that I need to change my environments prior to my predicaments lately.
adapt, adapt, adapt. my workstation, my hair, all new makeovers.and that includes my

I'm currently busy editing the alternative 3; a design thesis portfolio. so far, I've settled
on the formats etc; its the materials and participation of my fellow editors that are
driving me a headache. pluck in our open archi day as well as the inaugural sustainable
shelter design competition.

as my lil sis always pointed out back home when she's being asked to do the house chores;
"ALWAYS ME. WHY? WHY?"

responsibility is a privilege, but surely they're other candidates to run in the job?
I'm not hesitating or whining downright; but for the 5 years i'm in this archi-school, it feels like things wouldn't run unless I'm along with some 'usual suspects' comes to the fore. Besides: thesis, publication, exhibition for archi open day, uptight committee for the design shelter competition, and being an informal advisor to the current Persatuan Architech.
and juniors keep coming to me for crits too. Whoa~ I'm such an important and irreplacable person.

I wish I could give u guys a peek on what I'm doing for the thesis portfolio , but obviously there's the intellectual rights etc etc. when it's published, I'll snap the cover and post it here.

for the time being, as always, a quirkie 10 minutes PS to help me adhere to my boredom.
